Property Management People, Inc (PMP) is adding to their homeowner association management team at the Frederick, MD Corporate Office. This position is a non-exempt, full time opportunity. The Administrative Assistant provides support to the HOA management team with the daily operations by serving as an important liaison for the residents. Superior customer service and strong interpersonal communication skills are required. Responding with a high degree of urgency to the needs and requests of our clients is essential.

Requirements include:

* At least 1 year of administrative/clerical experience in a fast-paced office environment

* Excellent customer service skills

* Proficiency in all Microsoft Suite office programs

Community Manager

Property Management People, Inc. – Leesburg, VA

Property Management People, Inc (PMP) has an immediate opening for a qualified Community Manager in Leesburg, VA

As a PMP Community Manager, you are involved in the management and operation of a portfolio of properties including all aspects of administration, maintenance, financial plans, operating budgets and capital improvements. Professional Community Managers are required to oversee a wide variety of projects and interact with contractors. The most qualified candidates will have a solid understanding of contracts, accounting, insurance, physical plant maintenance, government relations, basic construction and HOA regulations as well as industry accreditation from CAI.

Requirements include:

* Demonstrated leadership skills

* A proven track record of delivering excellent service

* CMCA and AMS designations required, PCAM a plus!

* Excellent project management skills

* 3+ years as a business/HOA management professional

* Experience in interpreting contracts and covenants

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including spreadsheets and developing budgets

* Ability to pass a thorough Fidelity Bond background check which includes credit history, criminal record, and driving history

Office hours are Monday-Friday and attendance at evening board meetings is required. Candidates must meet the requirements above to be considered.

Maintenance Tech-Full time

Property Management People, Inc. – Odenton, MD

Property Management People Inc. is searching Full Time Maintenance Technician to work with the onsite staff at Piney Orchard Homeowners Association in Odenton, MD.

Requirements include:

• Experience in routine minor maintenance/repair including but not limited to carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs

• Minor building maintenance (interior and exterior lighting, locks, siding, pool areas)

• Grounds maintenance, fence repair, sign replacement, minor tree trimming and some snow removal

• Small equipment/hand tool experience, operation and minor repairs of power washers, painting equipment, generators, etc.

• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment

• Ability to successfully complete a thorough background check including credit, criminal and driving as well as pre-employment drug screening
