Current Opportunities:

 

Human Resources Manager

Property Management People, Inc. (PMP) is adding to their growing Corporate office team headquartered in Frederick, MD. PMP operates 2 divisions, HOA and Rentals, and employs nearly 80 Full time associates working in MD, VA and WV. This Exempt position reports directly to the Owners and is a Department of One.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Partners with Senior Management to execute the organization’s human resource and talent management strategy as it relates to current and future staffing needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Provides support and guidance to management when complex, specialized questions arise such as providing reasonable accommodations, FMLA leave requests, and performance improvement plans.
  • Manages the talent acquisition process, which includes recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding qualified job applicants; collaborates with Senior Management to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Partners with Senior Management to conduct employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with Federal, State, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs Bi-weekly payroll processing duties
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Proficiency with online talent management systems.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of human resource management experience required
  • SHRM-CP designation highly desired
