Property Management People, Inc is adding to their team at our onsite community in Sterling, VA. As a Community Relations Coordinator, you are involved in all aspects of communications and events. An upbeat personality and attention to detail are necessary to succeed in this role!
Requirements include:
Work with the Community Relations Committee to schedule, plan, organize, manage all community events. Orders supplies as needed for all events, maintains event supplies at minimal levels.
Responsible for the design and preparation as well as coordinating the publication of newsletters, advertisements, flyers, mailings, etc.
Manages and updates the community website with input from the Community Relations Committee and Community Manager.
Produces information by formatting, editing, inputting, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics by using Adobe InDesign.
In conjunction with the Design Review Coordinator or Assistant Community Manager, receive and track architectural applications as assigned.
Assists with common area parking inspections as directed by the On-Site Community Manager.
Provides back up relief to the receptionist, answers, and screens staff telephone calls in their absence; assists with telephone inquiries and office visitors as directed.
Assists in maintaining office supplies inventory, operating and/or committee manuals, and equipment information.
Experience with Word Press required
Ability to pass a thorough Fidelity Bond background check which includes credit history, criminal record, sex offender registry and driving history

Requirements include:
- Experience in routine minor maintenance/repair including but not limited to carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs
- Minor building maintenance (interior and exterior lighting, locks, and trash areas)
- Must have basic mechanical skills to be able to change vehicle oil, wipers, brake pads, top fluids. Must be able to operate a Kubota Tracker with snowplow, bucket, and woodchipper and a zero-turn mower
- Grounds maintenance, fence repair, sign replacement, minor tree trimming and some snow removal
- Small equipment/hand tool experience, operation and minor repairs of power washers, painting equipment, generators, etc.
